Hmmm. You know stock those things give new meaning to the term "fugly", but lifted up with some nice fat meats on them they don't look too bad at all. I could seriously consider one of those. If it had just a touch more cowbell it would be a done deal.

Is a hydraulic handbrake and locked diff enough cowbell for you?!

Oh.
My.
God.

Friggin Classic! How many out there have replicated his move to close the rear cargo doors when you realize your tire swing is flappin' in the breeze. I have more than I care to admit. Did it in front of a cop once and got a thumbs up of approval.

Hey Chris! Vanzilla delivered us from the Denver blizzard over Spring Break! Your Stage 2 in front and open diff in rear just ATE the snow. In 4 Hi for a solid week going back and forth to the Ski Area from our rented house. Driving out, pulled into one convenience store for pit stop. . .White out conditions and when I jumped out the snow in the lot was to my KNEES, I kid you not! Never slipped a wheel! :-D

Chris, quick ? or 3 on your Floating Airbags - I'm looking for a little more load capacity from time to time on my 6" kit and I'm about ready to pull the trigger and figured I'd probably not be the only UJOR owner with these questions... With the floating setup, how do they act on washboard roads? Any noise with the floating setup? Also, where do you recommend routing the lines/valves? I don't have an onboard compressor currently but have the Aluminess bumper on my SMB, was thinking about somewhere in the Propane compartment so they'd be concealed. Thanks a Ton Chris

I can help you with 1 thing. Bags don't change your load capacity. That is entirely dependent on your suspension, tires/wheels/brakes. All the bags do is level your load, up to about 5000# for the average set of bags like he's using. Routing the lines is really just a matter of looking at your particular junk, and routing them away from heat and abrasion. Valve location can be whatever floats your boat. I've used bags on numerous vehicles and I'm a big fan vs RAS or add-a-leaves and the like.

Ok, so maybe 2 or 3 things. :)

Hi Chris. When you have pictures of vans with awnings on them, they seem like they are hanging off a rack. Do you make a bracket to hang awnings off the gutter? I'm looking for a worry free bracket for either an ARB awning or possibly this heavier duty awning from Bundatec - http://www.bundutecusa.com/bunduawn-page.html

Thanks!

Thanks much Adam, hadn't seen that yet. After having the EeziAwn Manta on my list for awhile, this Bunduawn is exactly what I've been after!

Sorry gents, I've been in bed for a few days with the damn flu. Hit me HARD! Just feeling good enough now to answer some emails/etc.

We don't make anything, the awnings you see mounted to the gutters are using SMB brackets. There was a guy on the SMB forum making heavier duty pieces but I can't recall his name.

They're fine on washboard but I would run as little pressure as possible. Line routing/etc all depends on your air source, etc.

RV went home to NY Friday, was hoping to do a video but didn't feel well enough. So, here are some specs.... 6" conversion, Stage 2 front axle with 4.56, SSBCs and Spyntec hub conversion, Ultra wheels that we re coated all black, BFG 255/85/16 KM2s, full OBA system, Fox 2.0 singles at all 4 corners with res, Aluminess front bumper with Rigid lights and a Warn 16.5 w/Synthetic winch line, full solar upgrade (500w of panels, inverter) and a Deka 8A4D. This one really made me want to join the Class C crew, its on my list now for when the kids get bigger!
