UJOR Build Thread

Just got home today 4wd van is definitely the best vehicle for traveling. Doesn't quite tow like my Dually but we can work on that. Been 20,000 miles since the conversion and your system has run great. Glad I did the 6" leaf and the most used option is the OBA would never go without. Thanks again for your help along the way. The whole family agreed to some performance improvements before the next trip and they are already talking that we need to go to Alaska.

Thanks

Doug

Is this a UJOR build? I'm looking for the owner and more info on it.

Yep, thats it! We sent a kit to them for install in TX. Such an awesome build, he has some really ************** toys.

Awesome! I'm glad you provided the lift. I was feeling bad thinking it was another manufacturer's and posting in your thread.

I'm looking at 4x4 Ford Van Terras similar to that. The two I've seen are Quad Van conversions with maybe a four inch lift and SRW. One had a SFA with leafs and one had a SFA and coils/dual Bilsteins. However, I I want the dually due to upgraded capacity and length and could maybe single it out later.

Have you ever done a full air ride setup on an E-350? What height of lift are the factory radius arms good for? I'd have to do 4-link and a panhard in the rear to replace the leafs at the minimum.

I already have bags and heim joints from the air ride project I was going to put on my '08 Ram.

No problemo. we've never messed with air ride, not a big fan of it. If you want a 2wd suspension lift ck with Action Van suspension. If you want a partial or full 4x4 swap we can help with that. Custom spec'd springs to the actual weight are the key to making its drive and handle great.

Thanks! I'm not sure I want to go the air ride route. Just an idea I had.

Yes, I'd have to plan springs for an actual or estimated finished weight.

I'll be in touch after I get a van!

Also a great reason to run stem eliminators and a testament to how crappy it is to swap the step shocks!

I had to look up what stem eliminators are. Damn wish I had known about those before I did all four shocks, would have made the next time much easier!

Sweet rig, I saw you in Idaho a few weeks ago. I thought, hey that van and trailer look familiar. I had seen you on here.
