I’ve yet to hear about any warranty issues after the swap, anything we touch would be covered by us, The rest of the rig will carry its factory warranty.

When I worked for Ford and a 6.0 SMB came in for a warranty repair that required the engine coming out, the customer had to pay to have the front axle removed and re-installed. Everything else was taken care of

I’m sure that’s dealer thing. When mine went in for a warranty bed pan leak, the dealer charged Ford to remove the extra parts. I’m sure it was actually easier for them, but it gave them an excuse to upcherge Ford.

Yes on a standard engine swap I don't see the need to pull the F axle. Either way, a body removal or thru the front, F axle isn't in the way. I agree with SheepShagger, probably an individual For dealer decision unfortunately.

Ujoint, I just read through most of this entire thread...skimmed a bunch of course. I just want to say thank for being a huge support for the E-series vans. 4x4 is not currently in the cards for me but if it were, your parts are what I'd go with. Great stuff with great support man!

Cutaway chassis is still made, unsure when the final yr will be. I found a few 19s last night while searching for box vans.
