I won't be posting for a while, headed out out town for vacation next week. Will be back on the 22nd but I will be posting to Instagram and Facebook while I'm gone. There's no such things as a real vacation for me, always some level of work to do!

My boys just turned 5 so it's time for new RC cars and a little track! These Axial Yeti JRs are pretty cool. Need lockers though.

Completed our annual trip to the OBX, had a blast! Perfect weather, good food, good times. Absolutely love this spot, nobody else camping within eyesight the whole week.

I know there are a lot of ski bums maybe utilizing these out west and therefore need the 4WD but what/ where are most of your customers travel plans for a 4x4 rig this large?

Most are for the beach. NY, TX, NJ, VA.

The weather in the Pacific Northwest has gotten nicer, so I got my family out this last weekend in our U-Joint built Ford E350 6.0L van. My wife absolutely loves it compared to our old Jeep LJ overland rig. I thought I'd pop into Expo Portal though and give some props to Chris at U-Joint. He is a really stand up guy! I bought our van last year and immediately took our 5 year old son on an absolutely epic two week trip off road through the Canadian Rockies, Montana, and Eastern Oregon. About a week into the trip our U-Joint, early production gas tank developed a crack along a weld seam. Duct tape seriously stopped the leak for some time. But more miles made it grow to the point that we had to use ratchet straps and tank epoxy to minimize the leak. We got home okay and I still had the best vacation of my life.

So I wrote to Chris and asked him (it can't hurt to ask) about the warranty on the gas tank. Now understand that the U-Joint kit and tank were installed by a previous owner several years ago and I am the second owner since that work was done. Chris knew this and still stood by his warranty on the tank by sending me a new tank (improved version too with fewer weld seams), even covering the freight shipping!!! To me that is insanely good customer service! Thanks again Chris!

Thanks! We try to do our best! Unfortunately the guy that made those original tanks is no longer in business and his "engineering" skills weren't what he said they were so I've had to eat a few pieces over the years.

AMAZING the service that happens after the sale when you purchase from a QUALITY vendor providing a QUALITY product!!!

All of a sudden the price you paid becomes the bargain you never realized you had.
