We have a 24" Fiberine Bubble top available at their location in CA if anyone wants it! It has 12 x 43" windows, reinforced ceiling and 6" strips around the perimeter to mount stuff. Same top as this pic but with windows. Price is 5k. Shoot me an email if interested, chris@ujointoffroad.com

Beautiful V10 Chateau came down from VT for a tuneup! Some front end work, roof rack flooring and our rear bumper. Here's a before/after on the rear.

Loving all the builds, keep them coming! I’m looking a doing your conversion a little ways down the road. I had a rear axle idea I wanted to get your opinion on. My van had the 5.4 with a semi-float Dana 60 and 3.73 gears, it’s a bit of a dog on long grades. I would really like to go 4.10 to get the RPMs up. For the sake of not re-gearing twice, I was thinking of picking up a full float Dana 70 from a passenger van with factory 4.10s from a salvage yard near me. From what I’ve read it’ll be a direct bolt in . This way I get the benefit of a full float and the lower gearing. Then, when it comes time to 4x4 I can jump up to 4.88. Sounds like there’s more locking dif options for the full float 70 anyway.

Thanks! Sounds like a good plan. The full float RSC axle in the back of the E series is a Dana 60 as far as I know. Very rare to find them, 08 seems to be a popular year for them.

I lied when I said we had no more 4" vans to build! Forgot about this one! Local 4" 4.6 van, Stage2 D60 with RSC and 4.30s, 295/70/17 AT3s, OX locker out back, nice little camper van!
