Truck & bed are look well smart.... one idea I had was to add stake pockets for 2x4's to the bed deck. Some wooden sides on it then & you can haul lots of firewood for winter :)

Well.... I could, you prob don't have 6mths of snow to deal with

WOW ! :Wow1:

It's looking great and coming together very well.
The paint (color) looks really good and that bed looks amazing.
Thank you for sharing this fantastic build !

Looks awesome Chris! Double check that rear pinion angle though before you get on the highway!

Don't think that will fly?? :D

Thanks very much!

Looks awesome.

Thanks!

Since days off are for people with real jobs, I've been trying to use every second to get things done. Tired and worn out, but I only have a week to finish. We've been wiring, hanging more parts from paint, mounted the bed, set the rear pinion angle and installed the rear shocks, mounted the compressor & air tank, and I'm sure there's more that I've forgotten. I'm really excited that its coming together!

Hood grille and F valance installed. Trying to find some black rivets to install the hood vents tomorrow.

That's looking totally ************ Chris, a simple roll hoop behind the cab bolted to the bed with the spares mounted to them would really finish it off

Wow.. very nice but I really liked the bed bare but blacks OK i guess.
:D

It was cool bare, but will be more durable like this (I hope!)

It looks like an 'merican Unimog.

I guess thats a good thing!

Space is tight between the camper and cab, so I'll have to whip up something simple and space efficient. On my list for tomorrow......

Try your local Dirt Track shop for colored rivets.

Wish we had resources like that here! I found some @ Fastenall, should have them tomorrow.

Worked on more plumbing & wiring today, bed lights are up & running. If everything goes as planned, I'll be driving it tomorrow night!
