CO7.3 SMB is mobilized and ready for test miles before it heads back home. 6" leaf setup with custom spec springs, our front bumper, Warn VR12-S, sPOD, 4.11s, all of the usual UJOR goodies.

Here's the V10 that arrived Sunday, major transformation coming up. This will be one of the vans that people say "not the same van" or "nice try" when I boost the post on Facebook. Soft tear down next week then off to paint. Matte black, Innov8 gold wheels, our new front bumper, 08/up front clip swap, roof rack, Rhino, sPOD, lights, everything! We'll be calling it the SoCalV10.

can't wait, will be following.

those seats/patina are perfect on that Willys

Yea I couldn't mess with that priceless patina! people always ask, what are you doing with it? I say nothing! Its' done! I wanted the seats to be obnoxious so they stand out but fit well.

I love to get build pics of guys making their vans 4wd, especially when its a group effort with friends. We've been selling DIY kits for over 10 years now, it never gets old. Thanks to Sean in CO for the pic.

I still have my uncles old F150, we added a turbo last year to play around and now its time for the next step. Picked up a 5.3 and we'll start the tear down soon. Plan is to re do the suspension, install the LS with 1 or 2 turbos, cage it with some race seats & harnesses, hand brake, loud and rude hoon machine! My uncle wasn't;t a gear head but I think he would approve.

I didn't know ford made a 5.3.
How about at least going with a 5.4
Keep the Ford alive.

I got grief for wanting to put a 5.3 into my 1970 Buick. It is hard to beat the 5.3. I had one with 18,000 hours it ran like a champ and had good pickup.

Thanks

Cummings! Everybody knows they run for a million miles minimum, pump out elevnty-gazillion horsepower, and get 30 MPUF (miles per Unicorn Fart) while doing it. :)

THERE IS NO ENGINE CALLED "CUMMINGS"

FOR #@%)@_#$ SAKE PEOPLE....

IT'S "CUMMINS" -- Named after the founder, Clessie Cummins.

looks like a little rust repair should be done too...

Uh, no!!!! Don't you know that ****ty looking stuff is in style???? :) His cigarettes are still in there too, not touching them. This truck is a tribute to my uncle and he wouldn't like it too nice. I can get away with a good suspension & drivetrain though, he wouldn't have known the difference.

I love the 5.4 but there's just no way to get the bang for the buck compared to an LS. It can easily make 400 HP with simple mods.

I said EccoBoost that baby!

No way! It annoys me that everyone & their brother wants a Cummins in everything. Boring.

Ha, I have a buddy that does the same thing every time it comes up and I correct him every time. He still hasn't corrected himself.

This drives me nuts too
