Moire Transit updates! F skid is installed, some shelving inside and a rear ladder.

SoCal 7.3 Mega Build is moving along! Vantage Optics headlights, F bumper, grille hiding the much bigger ATF cooler all went on this morning. Transmission/t-case/rear axle & fuel tank this afternoon.

Had the rear quarters blacked out on the Transit to make it look like glass, I like the look and it will confuse everyone at 1st glance.

My carcane habbit continues. This car has been on my list forever. The 1st car that I ever had interest in was my grandmothers 77 t-bird. Identical to this! I was about to buy a different generation bird last month, that deal fell thru (glad it did) and I did my usual search for a 77. This popped up on eBay, THE one! I had to bid. 1 owner 55k miles, it's perfect! Just arrived this morning, excited to get it bagged and on some Detroit Steel 20s as soon as we can make some time.

Mid 70's Fords are probably some of the worst.
My mom had a Granada from that time, it was a piece of crap, rattle trap.
Nostalgia can get us to make some interesting choices.

Nice Bird!! My buddy Ricky had that exact car! I had a '78 Ford LTD II Sport in silver like this one. Yachts!

My car prior was a '72 Montego Brougham & the LTD was replaced by a '72 Ranchero GT.

Another crazy week! Trying to schedule around the holidays and keep the ball rolling, have a lot of work to do! Shipping a lot of bumpers, couple of axles too. V4 2.0 teardown began yesterday afternoon, working o it more today. I now have a deadline so it's game on! Needs to be done by 4-1, fingers crossed we can pull it off.

I really like that the frame is almost all flat except for that small hump. I need to measure one to see what the length is of the exposed frame.
