Any concern for or effort to mitigate warping the axle because of all the weld happening on only one side of the rear end? I’ve had it affect some of my work (Not axles) in the past and planning ahead is always easier than fixing after, just wondering how you deal with the issue; if it even is one on a part with that heavy of walls & castings.Some final touches on TX Big boi, will be mobilized tomorrow!

V4 2.0s D70 got brake lines, working on the bump stops now and this weekend will be big! Lots to do.
I think they were build for that 7.3 frame up rebuild a few years ago. (one that had intercooler and crate engine) still amaze me every time I see them, simply brilliant design.

Axle in! another D60 found its forever home.
Nothing is forever. But. I' like to think that in 50 or so years, someone will be scouting out parts for their build and will repurpose that D 60.
