Had a few inches of snow over the weekend, beautiful day for a cruise on some FS roads. Just dropped the price on this rig too, 125k! Needs to find a new home! \

Saturday we spun V42.0 around and got the stock F suspension removed and the coil buckets & engine x-member cut.

Placed the axle roughly in position, time to start with the F suspension! There are a few changes that I want to make from V4s setup, going to be fun!

Any concern for or effort to mitigate warping the axle because of all the weld happening on only one side of the rear end? I’ve had it affect some of my work (Not axles) in the past and planning ahead is always easier than fixing after, just wondering how you deal with the issue; if it even is one on a part with that heavy of walls & castings.

Take your time and move around, swap sides often to keep the heat down. Works well.

Mock up continues on V4 2.0, front axle is placed so we can make the links and new frame/axle mounts. The extra 5" of width is so nice! Will allow more turning radius and give us more real estate for the lower coil over mounts. The cab is at ride height, axle is slightly compressed from ride. Still working on the final placement of the axle push.
