Ultimate 3rd Point Mount for Alu-Cab Khaya Camper

I was the Alu-Cab dealer in NorCal for a few years and had several Khaya's on my demo rig. I always hated the 3rd point rear mount and was never satisfied w/ the appearance or strength of the parts supplied, so configured my own mount.

The 2" receiver bit is aluminum and the turn-buckles are 5/8'x8' stainless steel from e-rigging.com and rated for 2,200lbs per unit. Specs are here:

The turnbuckles are $95 each plus the cost of the receiver and related hardware...so well over $250. I no longer have a Khaya and have no use for the parts, so just want someone to have this killer set-up. Everything is here for a direct bolt-in application.

$100 plus shipping on your dime

Found this while googling for front mount alternatives. Since you were a dealer at one time perhaps you have could shed some light on my Ranger mounts. I was told by those OK people, mine was the first Khaya on a US Ranger. It was the excuse for an extremely long wait, the US Ranger bed is different than the world Ranger and special mounts had to be made. The dealer I bought mine from in Phoenix closed up shop, soon after the check was cashed, and AluCab really sucks at returning emails.

Four M8 bolts on each front mount that require a very thin wrench and lots of patience is the design they came up with. I have to use painters tape on the wrench to hold the nuts and guide them in place. Is this how they do it currently or on other trucks?

I redesigned my rear mount also. The rig the dealer set up had the turnbuckles pulling the camper out of the bed. They were bolted to a pintle hook receiver hitch plate that would run aground occasionally. The Ranger bumper has a fair amount of steel in the step below the license plate perhaps vestigial from the days of mounting a tow ball there. I drilled it out and mounted some eyebolts and reused the turnbuckles. I can use the hitch now and probably lost 50 pounds.

BTW....I still have this mount if anyone wants it. And for the avoidance of doubt, my personal profile @dieselbigot was locked by expo portal in a 2FA snafu, so I can no longer access that profile....so I have to login under my old business profile @BDRXO....But it's the same person :) ..... So contact me using my BDRXO profile

Do you think it would work for a Jeep Gladiator? I don’t have a Khaya yet but would like to get one for my Jeep. Thanks!
