should work fine if you know how to stick weld...
these were my practice beads when i first put it together, pretty crappy but i've never done stick before even with a real welder. mainly i have trouble keeping consistent motion/speed.

i need to get back to it and practice some more. basically i figure that if i have to stick some metal together to get off a trail then i could at least accomplish that.
