can we see inside that mid cab?
I thinks it from there since the stickers look pretty old. I was thinking about reaching out to the fire dept there and see if they have any info or even pics?If the stickers are original, it‘s even from the town where the Unimogs were built! Awesome!
It depends on if it is going to run ok. The electrical seems to be ok so far. Even had the siren and blue lights going the other night. I picture a roof tent to camp out of since it would be a shame to gut the fire gear. Maybe pull out the small fire equipment like nozzles, stretcher, etc and store them when camping. Then use that area for storage? Still thinking about.Very nice. It would make an awesome overland vehicle, so what are you planning to do with it?

That'd be interesting for sure. It translates “City of Gaggenau - Department Michelbach", if you don't already know that. I googled it real quick but couldn't find any way to contact said fire department, so reaching out to the Unimog Museum would be a good start, they are still in Gaggenau. There might however be a bit of a language barrier lolI thinks it from there since the stickers look pretty old.
