The Toyota Ultimate Utility Vehicle, or “UUV,” is a unique combination of different Toyota vehicles that combine to make the ultimate go anywhere mobile office. The first question people ask when they see this incredible machine is; “When can I buy one!?”. Sorry to say, but the answer is never. This custom one-off adventuremobile was specifically designed for the Ever-Better Expedition, and will go on tour with the expedition after the 2015 SEMA Show, where it will be featured in its final configuration. The design idea behind the vehicle was to create a unique mobile office where Toyota Ever-Better team members could teleconference and do work while on the expedition. IIRC, it's a Sienna minivan on a Tacoma frame. There were some threads about it a while back.

Are there ANY sema builds that are actually useful? Can they even get full travel out of that suspension without the tires rubbing?

It's a little too attention-grabbing, but I'm practical enough that I would happily accept a minivan body on a Tacoma. In fact, that sounds awesome. It could be the micro camper.

Top-down, I really like the concept, a capable van is a great tool for getting outdoors. I also really admire the fabrication that went into combining the best parts of the Taco, Tundra, and Sienna, and the metal work on the bumpers is very skillful. Amazing ideas at play here, and it's definitely a SEMA vehicle with real credentials to back it up.
But those wheels. The fact that people somewhere liked those wheels enough to put them on an actual vehicle disproves that there is an objective good to the universe.
And the large-by-huge TV in the back "because SEMA" is big turnoff for me. Luckily those are trivial issues that can be rectified easily, and I think that a heavily toned-down version on this beast would be a great vehicle for taking people and gear into remote places, it would be like a Super Vanagon.
Shoot, come to think of it a Previa with a 1UZ and third-gen 4x4 underpinings would be a cool project along these lines.

Huh, yea its interesting. I see some expensive king shocks and engage control arms. Does that make it trick? I don't know but it seems a tacoma, 4runner, etc in just about stock form would do everything that thing does.
