Makerpipe-based side cabinet roughed in. This will sit behind the driver's seat by the rear door and hold:

- 12V Fridge
- (3) 2.5 Gallon Scepter water jugs
- Ecoflow house battery
- Zip-Dee lawn chairs (standing up in the narrow center space).
- Switch panel for all house electric circuits
- Permanently-mounted 12v boat/RV fan
- Stereo amp on the floor under the water jugs

Notes:
- Most faces will get skinned with wood to look more like a traditional cabinet.
- All verticals will get trimmed and capped once I confirm heights are corrent.
- The lower-height section on the right completes the bed on the passenger side.
- Angled corner section matches the Suburban body contours in that spot.
- Depth is roughly half of the back seat space to the middle of the transmission tunnel. I'll get some cabinet space on the inside. Idea is to keep the passenger side floor space open for entry/exit.
- I might build a drawer for the water jugs, will try a fixed shelf first.
- The battery ended up between two former rear seat mounts, so a nice secure mount will be easy.

I'll trim this center section down to match the height of the fridge. It'll still be taller than our chairs.

Battery has some room for wiring and Ecoflow DC to DC charger:

This approximates where three jugs will end up, remaing space will be enclosed for storage.

First pass at this cabinet was too big. Gave up on the extra storage, took 5" out of the width, and much happier with the fit now.

It'll still accomodate all the core items and on the interior side if I need to add MOLLE panels or something to the skin it'll be easy to do.

Definititely appreciating the MakerPipe-based build for this. I was able to modify the structure in about an hour. If I had started with wood I think it would have been a total do-over.

I need to modify the wiring on the stereo amp, and then it will slide under the bottom shelf.

Ended up with decent amount of margin for the driver's seat position, and a nice storage spot on the floor.

I *think* I have the mount for the house battery sorted.

I bought the 3D printed feet off Etsy months ago. They came from Germany and with shipping weren't cheap but they just made such a nice elegant mount. I'm actually a bit frustrated that brands like Ecoflow don't sell something similar - without any tie downs on the battery itself it's harder to secure the battery in a vehicle than it should be.

Anyway, this location ended up between the OE seat mount studs so I wanted to attach the mount to them. The studs weren't quite long enough to just use the plywood so I had to mount some strap-metal to the backside of the wood for the nuts to engage with. I had the strap in my junk drawer.

I had to cut the carpet out for more bite on the studs and to get the battery height down as much as possible.

It has a little side to side wiggle but not bad.

Top clearance is tight but I think it'll be OK. Controls/display on the battery nicely accessible from the door - but I'm not 100% sure if this orientation is final. I can swap it end to end if need be.
