US Topo Command Maps of Africa

The University of Texas has an awesome online map section. If you browse around you can find all kinds of really neat maps. As an example, here are a full set of the series 2201 1:2,000,000 topo maps of all of Africa:

These are JPGs, so they'd have to calibrated for use with a GPS.

Example of the index page attached. There are also 1:250,000 topos of some of Africa on the same site.
