I'd give serious consideration to grammer bases over the chinese knockoffs. they really are a quality product. should be easily sourced in the states without you having to import I'd have thought. They're used in everything.
I'd also agree about the bolsters. you want a little, not a lot when you're climbing up over them. those are recaro seats so the bolster is likely more than just foam, probably a steel bar in there too which makes them very unforgiving climbing over.
