What's your actual rear axle weight with van loaded for a normal trip?
I actually don't know, I have scales, I could weigh it. More about finding a flat spot! haha

- 2016 Sprinter 170" High Roof - Crew (rear door windows, and mid windows).
- Second row seat (seats 5)
- ~31,000 miles Just serviced by MB dealer in Georgetown, TX.
- Dark gray color.
- V6 4x4
- VanCompass front and rear Fox suspension including adjustable rears
- VanCompass/Sumosprings upgrade front and rear.
- VanCompass rear leaf upgrade (4200lbs option).
- Toyo MT 255/85r16 on stock aluminum rims (incl. spare) with about 60-70% tread life left.

- Fantastic Fan wired to switchpro.
- Rear access port (hatch cover) for air flow when using Fantastic Fan.
- Thetford curve toilet base mounted. You will want a new potty to mount to it. ;-)
- Owl vans tire carrier (driver side) with spare tire mount.

- Class V hitch with 7 way plug and wired for trailer brakes (needs controller)

Note!
We have a couple scratches along the side near top and a few little dents. I am having the dent guy look at it and see what he can do with them. If you are looking for a van that hasn't been used, this isn't it. She's in great condition, but no garage queen.

Any feedback on price? What seems right?
I took the price of a typical RBComponents Van and reduced it by 100k. To be fair, most of the internals are RB kit that I installed myself. That said, we didn't do interior galley stuff and a few other things they typically do like onboard water or a heater.

I’m looking into Onboard WiFi for my Sprinter.
You have a nice solution and it is a great location.
Would you go this route again? Same Pepwave?
Any issues with being behind the headliner as far as signal strength goes?

What are you going to use instead of the van?
I have an external antenna and was anticipating needing it, but honestly we haven’t yet. but our use case isnt remote work or staying connected when camping, it’s more about keeping the kids occupied when on the road and upload for the victron data. Both of those use cases aren’t super stringent about trying to always stay connected. The pepwave is outstanding kit tho.
the million dollar question really. We just aren’t sure yet. We have a 2020 Ford F-250 Tremor that’s dying for some trips tho.
