I had the same problem and got a detacheable wheel installed at Camperpoint in Holland. They also sell them I think. Camperpoint.nl

A hot tip, but too lateAlready ordered a Victor adapter intended for Atego/Actros from germany, can confirm that it fits perfectly for Vario 2000. Currently waiting for the other parts.
Can I ask what the cost was?

to be honest I can't remember as it was in the total package of the conversion. but I'm thinking around 250 euros

Looks like Victor may have gone bust
A removable wheel would be great for my swivel seats, and a nice wheel too perhaps, but the Victor website says they have gone into administration. Anyone know otherwise?

They still had hubs from Victor at www.Truckstyler-Shop.de
It might be old Stock then.
At Truckstyler-shop they sell the hub as an Atego/Actros hub, but it fits the Vario as well, at least my year 2000 815 DA. (NB! this is a 5 bolt hub intended for Victor steering wheels)
