I got tired of my hat floating around the truck and getting crushed.

On my FJ-60 I undid the dome light screw and used that to mount the hat saver without drilling.

nice, great idea!

i plan on getting something like this.

just need to figure out which brand will allow the cap part of the hat to fit through. that way i can hold numerous hats that wont stack along with other misc. crap.

Looks like a good solution.

Long ago JC Whitney used to have something much like that, the wire was in more of an open horseshoe shape IIRC, it was spring loaded to press up against the headliner and it mounted to the metal above the windshield. Worked great for cowboy hats. They probably still offer it.
