I'm pretty sure the top is removable on the Int'l- not positive but I'm pretty sure I've seen these as fully open vehicles.

99 F250 5.4 V8 powered by CNG $2800

POST DELETED BY OWNER

1999 Ford F250 pickup
75,000 miles $2800
5.4L V8, automatic trans
bench seat
factory modified to run only on compressed natural gas CNG

extra large bed mounted gas storage tank
first owner was City of Las Vegas
all scheduled maintenance performed on time

my comments:

the advantages of CNG are lower cost per gallon equivalent
and very low emissions

the disadvantages include fewer miles per gallon equivalent
than gasoline when driving in the city, and very few filling stations
Putting the CNG storage tank in the truck bed decreases
cargo capacity.

CNG provides about 75% of the power that gasoline does,
or about 200 hp in this application. Acceleration is slower
than a gasoline V8, but is adequate.

CNG costs about $1.95 a gallon equivalent in Las Vegas.
The price in your location may be a lot more or a lot less.
Each state has a different plan to tax CNG sales. Some
states give a credit when licensing a CNG vehicle.

CNG is currently sold to the public at 7 locations. See the map
http://www.lasvegascleancities.org/alt_natural.html

Fuel economy is about 15 miles per gallon equivalent. The in-bed
tank provides a range of about 175 miles

CNG is very clean-burning, which reduces contamination
of the engine oil and accumulation of gunk in the combustion
chamber. Ford modified the engine to increase durability.
