Wiffleball Batter
As far as "freezer" stuff goes, remember that a deep fridge like this one will actually have a difference in temp between top and bottom. On my Indel-B I presume the temp sensor that runs the thermostat is located somewhere near the bottom of the fridge, based on the fact that it can be at 32 - 34 (normal setting) and if my wife puts in some frozen items on the bottom it will drop to 16 or 17.
.
It is absolutely possible to keep stuff frozen at the bottom of the fridge and use the upper portion as a refrigerator, but you are going to have to be careful that you don't put things that can be damaged by freezing (like soda, beer or anything carbonated) too low in the fridge.
.
As shown above on the Dometic, ours also has the compartment that sits above the compressor and is warmer than the rest of the fridge. We usually keep eggs there as it is the perfect size for eggs.
.
I'm still getting the hang of using a big chest type fridge like this one. I typically set the temp around 32 because I know that if it's set at 32, that temp will only be in the lowest part of the fridge, the upper portions can be in the mid- to high-30's and the compartment above the compressor can be in the 40s (I have a cheap refrigerator thermometer that sits in the top of the fridge so I can monitor the "real" temperatures inside.)
