Warm PJ's

Our 18 month old grandson is going to be going to the desert with us this Thanksgiving. He'll be sleeping in his playpen in an enclosed trailer, but no heater. My daughter says he tends to push blankets off at night. I'm concerned that he's going to get cold at night.

I'm trying to get our kids to join us in our adventures more often, obviously keeping the grandson comfy is critical! I'm not a huge fan of REI (another story for another day), but I found some union suit style PJ's on teir site that should do the job.

Any of you parents/grandparents have recommendations on what I should get? I need size 2T if anyone has outgrown their stuff and wants to sell it.

We have always used a onesie with socks, and then find some tight fitting thermal style PJ's followed up with some one piece footie jammies. My kids (3 year old twins) have slept in a tent with snow on the ground with this combo and sleeping bags, with no issues.

What he said. We pretty much use the same setup for our two year old. He hates blankets and always sleeps completely uncovered.

Thanks guys, kind of what I figured. Felt the need to ask just to satisfy the women folk!

My kids tend to stay covered better in their child mummy bags then with blankets, we got them on closeout from REI and they should be able to use them until they are 5ft tall :wings:
