Waze iPhone / AirPad

I like to use Waze on the highways. I use my iPhone to do this. It is older and does not have a big screen. I use my head unit to always display the outside cameras.

The AirPad is too old to run Waze so I have been experimenting with a screen-sharing app. It works but the resolution on the AirPad is very poor with the app.

Do you have any suggestions on apps or a better way to do this?

Get a CarPlay enabled “floating screen” headunit. Joying makes some decent ones, available through Amazon. If you are interested, I have a 9” version, with a volume knob and adaptor harness for Jeep JK that I’ll give you. $500 value, but I’m not using it

I already have a head unit installed with an 8" screen for the video cameras I run while driving.

I do not have a place to install a second head unit in the dash.

What are the cameras showing?

Mostly the back camera that is up on top of the light rack.

Still need to wire up the turn (R/L) cameras.
