Awesome. It was great to meet you up at VMI the day before you left (I have the VMI dodge). I hope my beta for the start of your journey home was helpful. Looking forward to seeing your trip pictures.

Looks really nice. Can't wait to see photos of the interior. I'd also love to see pics of the exterior kitchen setup.

The black band on the bottom - is that metal cladding, or vinyl?

Mike has mentioned a couple of times to me that they're doing a lot of vehicle work. I'm curious what exactly they did for you - is it mechanical stuff, or outfitting out the bed with drawers and such?

Yes - finally started on my "blog". I was going to try to post here but I'm finding off-the-beaten track camping and internet don't go hand-n-hand so much. And, when I do have internet; I need to dedicate the time to responding to work questions. So, I'm using my new website as my forum and I have posted more inside and outside pictures of the camper; which is performing admirably (and trust me, we've had mostly bad weather so far, including sub-freezing snow in Yosemite). I expect a more detailed journal of our trip won't see fruition until we are back in civilization... a few more weeks from now!! At that time, I hope to add more "specs" regarding the camper & the truck; which I feel is what everyone is anxious to hear about! Check back mid-December and with any luck, I'll be caught up.

Look's fantastic, congratulations! I know how much I paid for mine, I can't imagine what you paid for that beast. Enjoy, and welcome to the VMI family!

FRYFLY,

I will be in the St. Pete area in March. Any chance of seeing the final VMI product! I was there when yours was being built but it looks a lot different from the shell I seen at the shop.

Sorry - I never got this thread. If you're ever in the area again - I'd be glad to show it off. We may be at the AVL Expo as well, Oct 2016.

Expo East - Asheville Biltmore : We will be there if anyone is interested in seeing a finished VMI Product.
