I agree with Kermit's point about living in a cave and how environmentalists don't always live the talk.
But Luis, you are really missing the point and going off on tangents. As stated before, it's less about hacking trees and more about getting lands to offroad on closed.
When a judge says "show me some evidence of malicious activities on the trail" and the people that want where you or I wheel closed bring up that video and others like it, well, that helps none of us. Now, you claim it's trail maintenance, I'd argue it's more like trail creation. Either way, you're not exactly promoting good stewardship of the land to those that make decisions about closing off the lands to all of us. If you're able to stand up in the same meeting and show how you were clearly maintaining the trail then that's cool and good. But I'm guessing you'll never make it to the meeting and so your video represents you.
I've got a solution, just put a tag at the front that says "Trail Maintenance Trip" and then people will think that's what you're doing.
