Weird problem

So my problem now is... when I turn on my headlights the driver side one only strobes along with the turn signal and side marker on that side. On top of that my windshield wipers come on. Turn the headlights back off and the windshield wipers stop after a few swipes as well. However if I use the left turn signal even with the headlights off, the wipers come on this way also, but do not come on using the right turn signal.

I can unplug the headlamp assembly from the wire harness completely then switch the lights on and the wipers will not come on, though of course neither will the driver side light. However I can still use the left turn signal and have the wipers come on that way.

I had a similar problem minus the wipers activating. It turned out to be a bad turn signal/high-low beam switch.

I'm actually leaning towards this now, haven't had a chance to check much of anything else yet, but after trying to simply turn the headlights back on a few hours later I noticed that I can hear a clicking noise coming from the dash on my side, which has a rhythm nowhere near normal.

I think you both are probably right! Multimeter and 20 minutes of quality time with your rig! :coffeedrink:

P.S. Talk to it nicely and praise it... it may be feeling unappreciated!

It's probably because it didn't get it's Christmas present from Trek Outfitters, though I figured letting it play in the snow would of been a good substitute. Guess not.

Turned out to be a grounding problem, did a temporary fix due to the weather conditions.
