Sony NEX-5N w/ 18-55 lens covers most of my shooting requirements.
Nikon D300 w/ a plethora of lenses covers most of the rest of them.
GoPro HD1 w/ remote will hopefully handle video once I get the remote working.

Olympus Stylus Tough 6020 is my EDC (every day camera when ever I'm somewhere interesting.


They are builtfor all conditions, especially easily concealment while on the street which is important to me.

With 14MP image-stabilized sensors, 28-140mm lenses and 2.7 inch LCDs with advanced Tap control the the Tough 8010 and 6020 come with 2GB and 1 GB internal memory respectively and feature HD video recording. Photography is actually how I ended up here. I really enjoy shooting wildlife and in the spirit of f/8 and be there I got rid of my F250 for a Jeep and as I started planning trips to shoot specific things, I realized that I could remake my travel to be substantially more enjoyable.

All that rambling aside, I typically take a Canon 7D with grip, 24-105 f/4L, 100-400 f/4-5.6L, and my 500 f/4L with a 1.4x Extender III, one P&S and sometimes a GoPro.

My Contour Roam 2 w mini tripod and headband + my iPhone 5 are in my bag/truck at all times.

If i know im goin to be out sumwhere worth a damn i take my Panasonic Lumix LX7 and Contour +2 with suction mount

I'm usually using my old Nikon F5 and/or the D80.

50mm and 24mm get the most use.

The F5 was a great camera, sometimes I wish I had not sold mine...

I guess you had a nikon before the canon ?

curious why nikon glass for video ? was it nice glass you had before or did you buy them when you had a canon for a reason ? again just curious

one thing I do think is sweet is the new canon 600 flash if you have a MKIII or 6D pretty slick setup they have now
for work I use phottix II now with my 580s I have some pocket wizards but they are the multi max I used with studio gear
