Sorry to hear that you needed to mod your LoD spare tire carrier. First I've heard of any of their products not being up to the job. Have you contacted LoD about this so they know?

Repaired my broken Gerry can holders on my LOD and added braces so it doesn't happen again

I love my LOD rear bumper. Gen 4. I also got the Armor Lite Front. What I am extremely anxious to see is the new roof rack they are putting out. This was the response I got from Chris a little bit ago. I saw an add on another forum about it coming soon so I had to ask.

Yes we have a really cool rack that is coming out here in September. It allows you to take the soft top up and down without unloading everything and rotating the rack backward out of the way, like every other rack on the market, which is basically a pain in the butt when you want to put your soft top up or down. We will be putting photo's on the Forums here pretty soon. Its on our Jeep in our shop now, and its unlike anything on the market and we are very excited about it!!!!

Installed Hella Supertone horns this afternoon to aid me in my weekday round-trip commute from the burbs to downtown. I got sick of the near useless OEM horn and it's inability to draw attention. These new horns will definitely provide some audible "corrective action" for inattentive drivers.

Modified my MCE fenders. Love the fenders: didn't love the flat fender look :)

Really like the modification, but why not take a little time to make sure the screws are even across the front of the fender. This would make it look professional instead of sloppy/rushed, not an insult, just an observation.

Why not take the time to wonder if there is really a meaning to anything at all? What is anyone's reason for doing anything, why not just give up?

Everything has its place and purpose and until you have walked a mile in a really uncomfortable pair of shoes that you can't wait to take off: you will never know.

I came to a conclusion that what I post is always open for review and occasionally not what I like to hear or see. In person some of these remarks would be accompanied by a wink or a slap on the shoulder limiting the negative connotation. although there are some continually confrontational posters out there (not limited to this site) I think that for the most part we are all civil and on the same page. Just my personal observation...

I finally got around to installing interior controls for my winches and air compressor. I have a warn powerplant HD on the front and an Engo 9k winch outback. A kill or master switch is installed to arm the winch switches. The Warn PP has a manual switch to either use the motor to operate the winch drum or air compressor. This switch also makes and breaks a micro switch that sends power to the controller to power either drum direction solenoid or just one solenoid for compressor operation. When the manual switch on the winch is in the compressor position the interior switch light comes on. When the manual switch on the winch is in the winch position power is sent to the kill/master switch and allows for either winch to be operated. When the master switch is on the lights on the winch switches come on. The lights let you know when each switch can be used.

Now I do not have to haul around two different winch controller/remotes. When I have the jeep stationary and trying to move another object I feel more comfortable being on the outside controlling the winch instead of inside so, I will still probably carry the Warn remote.

I agree: normally I try not to get into it with people who are more abrasive in nature. I would have decided to defend my actions by telling him that if he was able to see the other side he would realize that the forward screws were both even and the outboard screws were equally lower for a good reason. I however decided that a confusing rhetorical comment was more fun.

It is out finally. I like the concept need to see more pics and maybe a video which they say they are doing. Really neat design and some have commented on the possibility of a J30 being used in conjunction with how it looks. That would be awesome to see if so. LOD released photos on 10/6 on some of the Jeep forums. I am not sure if I can post which ones so I will just leave it at that. PM if you cannot find and I will tell you which ones. Edit I just grabbed a couple of photos off of one of other sites so you could see.
