What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

ordered a new exhaust set up. Was on a trail ride with someone who has this and it sounded great.

Caught it on sale for $163 free shipping maybe it was a deal I really don't know better than most vendors have it priced.

This is the same one I put in a month or so ago. I didn't put it in so much for the noise (well a little) as I did to relocate it for a future 2nd tank mod. I like it... but it is louder than I expected - especially when at 2500-3k. I find it annoying when higher than that. I haven't done a road trip in it (although did do a 250km yesterday). I can hear it at highway speeds. Not quite annoying... but definitely noticeable. It's very very noticeable when I put my foot down to merge onto the highway.

Honestly... If I'd heard it in person (or driven it before hand), I likely would have looked for something slightly quieter. Not sure what this will be like when I pull one of my trailers - but my tire noise (which I tuned out) was noticeable louder when pulling my m101.

What other options are there for smaller exhaust but close-to-stock sound?

Yea the relocation was the primary reason I got it. I am running 4.88 so my RPM is kicked up a little maybe it is not to bad. I did hear it on a JK on the trail I liked it but never heard it on the road.

Honestly I'm not sure. I bought it solely due to the relocation, and it's amazing price ($260 CND) and the free shipping offer the company I bought it from had (NO ONE offers free shipping up here!!) - it checked all my boxes, but I wasn't expecting it to be as loud. My fuel consumption has also gone down noticeably... however I attribute that to my heavy foot and liking the sounds (the pop as it upshifts is nice), and not liking the sound as the RPMs drop to say below 17/1800 (sounds like it's lugging the engine - it's not of course, but because it's noticeable vs before...). It's mostly just the higher RPMs that make me shake my head from time to time. I honestly wonder what other drivers think when I take off from a light and get the RPMs up over 2-2500 (but still under 3). All I'm saying is this isn't subtle by any means.

I'll see about taking some video for you if you wish.

Got my tire & jerry can carriers roughed in over the weekend, now just have to paint them and wait for the license plate relocation bracket from JCR to permanently mount them (jerry can carrier will only be mounted for overland trips):

Drove it to work as the battery in my daily driver was dead this morning. Both vehicles were sitting for the last three weeks while I was on holiday in Europe, and apparently the battery decided that 15deg F was too cold for itself.

I ordered myself new gears 4.56 as well as a front locker. I also ordered my wife the TemboTusk Wine Tote for Christmas. Gear install on the 17th cannot wait!

Scheduled 4.56 gear install at northridge, they are running a smoking deal $999 out the door all parts included (master install kit, yukon gears etc)

Yes awful that they are running that special and I am located in FL. I actually just ordered my gears and locker from Brian at NR. Wish I was remotely close to their locations. Enjoy that deal!
