What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Well, Finally got my airbags installed in the rear of the Jeep. I have to say, unloaded with 30psi in the rear makes the ride somewhat bouncy. ha ha. I am dropping the pressure to 5-7psi empty and then increase to load.

Third radiator came in today. I was home briefly for lunch and it was on the front porch, checked it out it looked OK. Got back from work around 5 pm and went at it. Got it in and running, I think I have an air pocket in there so it's not over yet. But so far so good.

Take two: Cooling systems are my nemesis. Always a pain to bleed/burp out the air pockets. Always make a big mess, etc. BUT I may have it now. I'll let it cool down fully again and test it again in the morning, if things look good then the front end goes back on.

Sold my gobi roof rack yesterday and got spark plugs changed today, for future reference 3.6 pentastar stock plugs should be changed earlier than 100,000 miles they were pretty done

Put the front end back on, drove to the gas station and back. Trans cooler lines leaking, coolant underneath too from something, AND I must have messed up the hood latch because the release is just loose, can't open the hood to do anything.

Done with this. I'm off camping another weekend without the Jeep.

Clayton from Clayton Offroad called me this morning to tell me the LJ was ready. Unfortunately, thanks to work issues, it'll be the week after next before I can make the 3 hour drive down to pick it up. He said it was driving "awesome". I went with the triangulated four link rear and the radius arm front for road driveability over the three link front.

I need to get an exhaust that will clear the four link after I get it back, he put a turn down on it for now.
