What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Lock your doors! Fun Monday, looks like someone got bored and opened up a couple cars in the neighborhood!

Only thing taken is a work laptop and garage door opener (currently not working)

Also my under seat storage worked since I found a random screwdriver ...looks like they couldn't get in or gave up. So pending should have my GPS still

Obviously they had stuff in mind since sunglasses and CB radio and other misc items were not taken

That really stinks. :(

I got broken into almost exactly two years ago. They ignored $2-300 worth of stuff in it but managed to do $2,000 damage to the steering column. They wanted the whole thing.

Obviously they were not good at what they were trying to do. I don't tell people about the tools in my van, garage or Jeep. The 3B is always locked and can be a pain to get in unless you know how to do it. It's actually fairly easy, The Commando has no door locks on it. It came without any, a PO removed them. I've had to break into houses to do work for them. Again, easy to do if you know how to do it. I am an honest person even if I know how to pick locks or open combination locks. Just stuff you pick up over the years.
I'm sorry about the damage to your vehicle. I hope they find them.

I finally got my new bumper on! Its a Rockhard 4x4 Patriot with carrier. I opted to get it in bare steel and then I painted it to match my Laredo cladding. I think it turned out pretty awesome. Sure will be nice to carry a full size spare again.

New powder coated wheels mounted, balanced and on the Jeep. Unfortunately there were no center caps. They'll be here Friday so I have something to do Sunday morning. :)

Thanks. Hopefully it will look just as basic and rugged but a touch more finished with the plain black center caps. We'll see Saturday morning. :)

Replaced all the pressurized struts for the rear hatch and glass. Man, what a difference!

Finally got the heep washed and waxed after not having that luxury since last winter. Also refreshed the exterior with some new stickers

Spilled an entire large cup of hot chocolate down the console... :(
Spent the morning disassembling the interior, and cleaning carpets...
Whoops...

Just very glad Wranglers are "wash and wear".

Got her a little dirty on Saturday (first time I've taken her off road):

Then yesterday I hosed off the bulk of the dirt and put on some new decals.. Changed the wrangler decal (was silver) and added the flags to both side:

Finally built a"top-removal" system and took the top off with the nice weather in Houston.

Nice and simple and you can park normal with the front underneath it overnight and such.

Finally got a gobi stealth rack. And I mounted my cvt awning and road shower to it. Loving the rack on the Jeep. Only 3 years of wanting one. Mounted my awning using fourtreks awning brackets. These things are top notch. 20161123_135259.jpg20161123_135235.jpg20161119_083444.jpg
