since almost every other forum has one of these i thought i would start one here. if there is already one started then carry on, but i couldnt find it.

got some new shock boots in to match the new paint job. one of the forks was rusted pretty good on the XT but finally got it free. looks alot better now.

also got a small net from ebay for the back of it.

Changed the fluids after riding from Dallas to San Antonio and back in two days. 500+ miles with no wind protection and a well worn seat, and I can't wait to do it again!

Mine sat at the shop over the weekend with no plastics and no seat waiting for a $70 starter relay to show up. $70 for a relay, geezus!!!

Changing the oil this week and heading out soon to pre-run with AdventureDuo for the CalZona trip in a few weeks. Nothing like covering ground on two wheels, it's like cheating :)

Ordered new head gaskets, tires and tubes. Should be in on Thursday. Hopefully the new gaskets will cure the no start issue and blue smoke will roll out the exhaust.

Not today, but in the last 2-3 weeks..... Ditched all of the stock taillight assembly and went to an LED setup. Got a new rear SR244 and installed a rear Tubliss at the same time. Also, got a new valve head for my Mountain Morph pump. The new one has a built in pressure gauge. Not very good below 30PSI, but goes up to like 10 bar, so it's really useful to make sure the tubliss inner is pumped up enough (needs 100psi or 7 bar). Rode for 2 days in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, and then did a nice long 170 mile day with some of my riding buddies in South Western Kentucky exploring a bunch of areas I've never been. Lots of cool gravel/dirt out there.
