What happened to the sierra 4x4 thread from yesterday?

After reading the complaints and the responses from Sierra...I can see failure in the future. Seems a good craftsman is an immature business man. He has lied and not delivered on promises without apology. Not a business I would associate with or advise anyone else to deal with.

Seems this happens to often to good builders and craftsmen.

My mistake. Sierra 4x4 is not, and never was a sponsor. Fuzzy memory on my part. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I wanted to buy a lid for my M416 from them & now I will place that decision on hold

I agree online is no place to debate personal business disputes

however the shady side has to be known to prevent others from the same fate

Actually, I disagree. I know in my heart, that I wrote, what I wrote, out of empathy for the guys who where S4X4 customers. Yes I was pissed and yes I let it be known. If I crossed a line, please point out where. I'm listening to every argument against what I've written. Where anybody proves me wrong, I'll apologize. My last volley of responses in the previous thread was a point by point fact vs. fact rebuttal. Not a single fact that I stated was challenged and not a single fact that I stated challenged and proven inaccurate.

I'm disgusted that these threads even exist. How ever they must in the name of reputation, honor and standing up to do the right thing.

+1. Well stated.

These Sierra 4x4 threads actually saved me the heart ache too.

This is why I support customer comments on the forum about their poor business practices.
I would appreciate it if the locked down threads were unlocked and freedom of speech could be re-established. I do not see anywhere any personal attacks or any violation of the forum rules where violated.
Calling folks trolls because they stand up for customers that were lied to over and over by a unscrupulous business is hard to understand.

I'm with you on this. I'm glad at least this thread is visible so I know there was some underlying issues

I think the point that Haven is making and the point I tried to make in an earlier thread is this: There are places online to place negative reviews: Google Reviews, Yelp Reviews, etc.
This forum is not the place for them. If you are not an actual customer of Sierra, then the banter is hear-say.
Remember: NO freedom of speech is being violated by locking these threads down. This is a privately owned public forum. Not trying to be harsh by saying that ... is simply is the fact of the matter.
No one here is siding with Sierra or are "handshake" friends with Chris. I would encourage those that have had experience with Sierra (both good and bad) post reviews on those appropriate places, and let the chips fall where they may.

Regarding locking of threads, I for one, understand and agree with you one hundred percent. We are in your house and should respect your opinion here. I don't see any freedom of speech issue here.

I don't think these threads were started with the intention to post a review. I believe they started them asking for help. It's possible that pressure has been put on S4x4 and that it has resulted in the delivery of a couple of trailers. As I've stated before, I hope S4X4 gets completely caught up and these threads all become ancient history.

So, in other words, forum members should only post 'Positive Reviews' here?

Kind of defeats the purpose of researching something a person may want to purchase, doesn't it?

I for one, use this forum as much for finding quality gear and dependable shops, as much as I use it for the trip reports, pics, and other great information.

If all that will be allowed to be posted are 'Positive' reviews, I'll look elsewhere for my information.

X3. I 100% agree. This is not a place to sugar coat facts. Also, this is the internet so one should take all with a grain of salt.
