I guess that means you're not going to ship it over to me:(. Congrats on the new 79 though! You going to outfit it like your 105 was?
you might need to fight the new owner to get the 105 now mate...lol
As for decking out the 79 series...it'll get it's fair share of additions in the coming years, i plan to keep this vehicle for the long term so it'll get built up over time as the budget allows. At just under $70K they aren't a cheap purchase by any means, so will take me a while to get everything on it that i want. Comes standard with front and back factory lockers and a snorkel, so atleast i don't need to add them this time around. I have the front spotties, uhf radio, lightbar and awning from the old vehicle which will go on the new one, so i won't need to buy much else other then a custom made canopy, bullbar, brush bars, decent side steps, dual battery system and brake controller for my trailer...to name a few things...lol

At 178,000+ miles on my new to me 100, I replaced the heater hose T's and the associated coolant lines. One was in tolerable condition and might be kept as a spare, the other was beginning to disintegrate.

I also replaced the thermostat and gasket.

Plasti Dip and 3M head light restoration

Blacked out the grill and rear side vents. I also removed all the oxidation from the headlights using the 3M headlight restoration kit. For $25 and an hour of time it was worth it.

Over the last month I have done a few things. I installed and Nav/bypass and Bluetooth module since it was not on the 200's till 2010. Added ARB rear bumper with tire and jerry can swing outs. Put over 2,000 miles taking the family to Colorado to attend FJ summit.

I think I spotted this 200 in the Newport Beach area last week. It had the rear tire carrier with some sort of aftermarket black steel bumper.

Truly a sight to see for me as I rarely run into any modded Land Cruisers, let alone the rare 200, anywhere. It looked amazing. Made the vast sea of Range Rovers and G wagons limp in its wake.

Looks like an arb modular bumper without any swingouts(tire or jerry can holder) or cover plates, weird someone who can afford a 200 and an arb bumper wouldn't be able to at least buy $75 cover plates so maybe the swing outs were removed for some reason.

I think when that pic was taken and when I saw it present day... quite some time has lapsed. 1.5+ yrs?

Plus the hard/unique stuff are the huge 35"+ tires/wheels to have it look decent tucked inside those huge flares just eyeballing it. Can't emphasize how unique it looked on the streets of OC. Too many of the 200s I see online go conservative with bike tires on OEM wheels. Yes, it works well, I'm sure, but "augmentation" is attractive.

Exciting stuff for me!

That guy should buy the tire swingout I have for sale on here... ;)
