I´ve come across a for-sale ad for a 1985 FJ40RV, 3B engine, 5-speed and power-steering. I thought the curtain went down on the 40 series in 1984. What is the RV moniker?

They went out of production in 84 but there may have been some left over for sale in 85.

The "R" denotes right hand drive. That's why my FJ45LV has an "L" 'cause it's left hand drive.
The "V" supposedly stands for a "van" body. Which kind of makes sense since the FJ45LV is a wagon.
