It a hardwired phone interface.

It was used with a semi-custom adapter depending on what phone you had. Mostly older Nokia phones. It's not of any use to any modern phone.

As others mentioned it's a phone cradle, now if your lucky you have Bluetooth connection as well, turn on truck scan find landrover, pair, password is 2121 or at least should be on most models.


Depending on year you may have to pair every time you get in, but there is a uk chap that reprogram the Bluetooth unit to be always paired

I just updated all my computers and Bluetooth works properly now, no more pairing every time I get in the LR3.

Thanks, that was making me a little batty.

My Blue tooth paired up just fine the first time. so that what I would be using.
Just wish i could play Music over bluetooth too.

Something like the following is the best it gets. I personally haven't tried it though. My Phone dock has a dedicated audio out line that I just plug into the port on the back of the console.
