What truck is this?

Disregard the subframe on top. I know it's 2001 Fg 4x4, but which one? Looks too long to be fg140. Must be a fg160, right? Is that how it goes, bigger the number, longer the frame?

Whatever model it is, does anyone have a owners manual, line drawings, etc? I'm particularly looking for distance from back-of-cab to rear axle and end of frame.

Thanks!

Ok, that says Fg84, what the heck is THAT!? Seriously, I need to learn what-all these numbers and letters mean. I'm also seeing fgb...

Thanks for the line drawings, though.

Interesting! Never heard of the LWB referred to as the FG160 and I’ve had 7 of them. Is this noted somewhere in the literature?

Isn't there an even longer 4x4 called the fg180? Thought I saw that somewhere.

The above brochure is for FE, not FG, but it does show 3 gas FE models. Thanks for posting it.

FE140, FE160, and FE180.

Tell me everything you can about this truck, especially about the engine, tranny, and final drive ratio. What does the T/M number mean? Also, where can I check the VIN? All the sites I find in a search say it's invalid or want money. (I'm not comfortable posting the Vin on an open forum).

Its a FG639 with 4d34 engine could be turbo or non turbo
T/M means tranmisson .
Without checking i think but could be wrong MO35 is manual 5 speed.

In Australia an Fg 639 would make it around 95/96 year model.
Yes MO35 is manual and diff ratio looks like 5.714.
If as you say it is auto then I would be looking at the engine number on the engine as to me it probably had an engine change to a later engine and transmission. But then again it is in the States and all bets are off.

Okay I'll stand corrected.
The transmission :- The " M " stands for transmission. The " 035 " stands for loading capacity (tonnage). The " A " stands for automatic. The " 4 " is four speed forward.

Seems that the " E " is for chassis length but how long I don't seem to able to find as yet. But I have a listing of 10.49 to 11.44ft (this length covers all models).

If you can supply me the VIN number I can decipher some more.

Dan.
