What years Tundra do you recommend?

Same size bed.

Why limited? All you mainly get is leather seats. Guess being from California and seeing 100 plus degree weather I can't do leather. I had leather in my 2006 s2000 but I also had illegal tint all around lol.

If you're set on 06. Don't forget to look at 05. 05-06 are the Same and probably save a little with a 05 with similar mileage.

limited, because I really like the powered rear window. But, i do hate leather. Figured I can get a custom fitted cloth seat cover for the seats. I, also have illegal tinted door windows onmy Tacoma and will do the same with the Tundra. I'm keeping an eye out for either an '05 or 06.

Oh, i read that the only differences between the SR5 and the limited were the limited had leather seats amd rear powered window. I guess that info was wrong. If that's the case, i'll get an SR5.

I have had my 04 Double Cab SR5 for a year now and I love it! The truck has done everything Ive needed it to so far and given me zero trouble, and the roll down back window is great!

When I bought my 05 DC in 2009 low miles. I could have bought a 2 gen for cheaper at the time but don't regret it one bit. I feel it still have a "Toyota" feel the newer ones have a domestic taste to them. I also have a 2004 sequoia I'll drive them til the wheels fall off

I do slightly agree with this. My previous 3rd Gen 4Runners had a bit more of a "Toyota" feel than my 2nd gen Tundra. That being said, it's still a truck so adjust your expectations accordingly. Also, it's nice to tell people your (2nd gen) Tundra is as American as an F150 and much more so than a Silverado. I'm a huge Toyota fan so any gen is both great and has their quirks. Test drive both, make lists, and weigh differences. If you're in the northern Utah area you (or anyone) is more than welcome to check out my '07 Single Cab Tundra for a test drive.

Little bit more than that.

Limited had the option for leather. I've seen a number of trucks, especially in the south, that were "limited" badged with cloth interior.
Limited had access to Sunroof (DC only), Rear entertainment
Limited has access to heated leather seats
Limited has access to different sound system (forget model)
Limited has access to, though rare, in-dash GPS. More common in Sequoias
Limited is monochromatic... this has always been the kicker for me as I despise chrome (and yes, my SR5 has a ton of chrome now. ick)
Limited is available with or without the TRD suspension upgrades
And the Limited has fake wood trim

I think that's it....

05-06 do not have super chargers available if that's your flavor. However with all the other mods required to do a blower right on our engines I wouldn't consider. Have an 04 4wd. Just put on Doug Thorley headers, really woke it up. Having a 5 speed tranny and 282hp / 325tq vs 245/315 on my 04 would be the only thing I change on my rig.

I have the TRD blower on my '04. What mods are you talking about because mine runs incredible? Now my 4runner with the TRD charger needed fuel mods but I haven't heard anything about the 4.7.

Yeah I love my 04 without vvti but do wish I could mate it with the newer 5 speed auto
