Whata Ya think of these as a good start for a build?

2008 F350 Powerstroke 4WD 400K miles

2003 F350 Powerstroke 4WD 450K miles

All have nice boxes, air compressors, hoses, lighting, spare tires and more. All run and drive.

For me they wouldn't be worth it for anything Serious because those high miles mean lots of wear. A worn out vehicle doing an overland trip isn't usually a good idea. Value is determined by your market, the older 7.3 might be worth more than the other two. If it was me trying to sell them I'd try around 5-6k just because they still run and drive

I would think they would be good parts trucks, I would offer 10k for all of them.

I'd offer $5,000 for the 03 and drop a rebuilt and bullet proofed 6.0 under the hood. Even with the high miles if the bodies aren't all rusted out replacement mechanical parts are still plentiful.

For a true overlanding / expedition rig I think they'd be great. You're gonna re-work the drivetrain and suspension anyway, right?
