Whats my road bike worth?

I have a nice bike collecting dust and was wondering what it's worth. It's Dura Ace 10 speed components with carbon fiber stays and forks. I probably rode it 250 miles but has been moved around a bit and is 7 years old or about the time the Dura Ace 10 speed stuff came out.

what make/model is it? as a general rule, bikes depreciate like personal computers. it's probably not worth anything near what you're hoping to get for it.

I can't seem to get a bigger pict to work. It's a Motobecane and paid less than 1700 new. I have no idea what to put it on Craigslist for. I'll probably post it here first. I'm 6' 2" and it fit me.

i hate to say it, but don't expect to get more than a few $100 for it. unless you're really strapped for cash, I would just keep it or give it to family or a friend.

I'd guess a good starting point might be around $750ish. That's assuming it's a complete DA kit.

Cranks ,breaks, both derailurs, break lever shifter things are d-ace. Head set is Ahead, wheels Ritchey, bontrager is also in there. Is that a complete Dura Ace kit?

Typically a good starting point is 50% of retail, but be prepared to go lower.

You could shoot for $850ish, but don't be surprised if it goes for far less. I think $700 would be rock bottom.

I'd say $6-700. Most people buying the bike will get it for parts. At least, I would.
