Very interesting responses so far.
The gist I'm getting from it is, it's ok for us yota guys to knock LR because we're expedition rated.
So we'll just tolerate the LR ripping posts which in many cases are brought about by people who don't have any real experience with LR. But they are expedition rated.
I'll wager that 99% of people on here have never, or ever plan to, go on an expedition, they are just wanting to build a truck that looks like it's going on an expedition.
Like most people on here, my truck isn't going to take me across Africa, Asia, Europe or South America. But it will take me off roading, camping, get me to the fishing spots that most of you guys won't get to carrying a roof top tent, and generally carries me around the mountains every weekend. Yes, every weekend. Without breaking. Or falling apart for no reason. Or spontaneously combusting in front of the garage.
