What's your camper weigh?

For those of you running bigger campers—especially on an F-550/5500 platform—what's the total weight of your rig fully loaded (water, gear, etc)? And how much of that weight is on the rear axle vs. the front?

4,320 dry, roughly 4960 filled up, 500 pounds on the hitch, zip on the front.

I've never heard of weight being measured on the front of a truck because of a camper. :)

I should probably clarify that I'm specifically thinking about flatbed and chassis mounted campers, where the weight would get split between both axles because it's located, well... between both axles.

Your's first?
I don't have a truck-bed camper yet (just a cheap tow-behind), so I'm trying to get a sense for the kind of payload I can expect.

I know from comments here that it's generally more than I'd comfortably want on an F-350, but there's a huge difference between the F-350 and F-550 payload, and I'm wondering how much of that will get eaten up.

Also... that's a really weird response!

Not so much, at least I also wondered what the context was for your question  Thanks for filling that in. Our chassis-mounted camper is on an F350 C&C and we run right a couple of hundred pounds either side of GVWR depending on the season (highest in summer).

11,400 wet (full fuel, 600 AH lead-acid 'house batteries'). Custom built 12 foot composite camper (heavy, FRP/.5 plywood/2"foam/.5 plywood/FRP), 4060 lbs. Combined 15,460 lbs.
Add 'gear', (sleeping, food, recovery, etc) 600 lbs+/-, for 16,060 lb +/-, plus Spanish gold found buried in the Sierra Madre - 823.5 lbs (176.5 lbs paid as bribes facilitating fees to banditos facilitators) ;)
Sorry no front/rear weight, yet

Out of your basic parameters as it is a '2500' but my 2016 Ram with and without it's camper (EarthCruiser GZL-300) has a weight distribution ratio:
without camper - Front/Rear ratio of 57% / 43%
with the camper- Front/Rear ratio of 47% / 53%

if that is any help

It's probably easier to find the right truck for the camper than the other way around. If you post which campers you are considering folks could point you to an appropriate truck.
