Hello,

After searching zero or 0 offset I still can't see what any issues would be -

2005 Montero Limited - How much offset is too much for a 17x8 rim? Tires will be a 285/70-17 Bfg-ko2

The fit needs to functional in that can't hit out side fenders.

Alright, so with trial by fire, I found out that 0 mm offset wheels do not work. I found out by ordering five 17x8 steel wheels off ebay and they sent me a -12offset. I sent those back and had the shop order me some soft 8 17x8 steel wheels with 0mm offset. At first, I thought they would worked, I was so excited until when backing up the wheel clipped off something from by break caliper. I have to go to the shop tomorrow.

So, luckily the shop had four 17x9 18+offset wheels. And here they are. I have some Cooper STT Pros 295/70 r17 33.45" Finally! I could breathe a little better now.. I hope this helps anybody looking into 0mm offset.

There's also style of wheel to consider, I should try my -12mm wheels on my Gen 3.
