Where are all my MilSurp equipment fans at?

LOL........We get 5-8 rolls (1000lbs - 1600Ibs) of mil-spec OD waxed canvas delivered every 3 - 4 months from the original US manufacture that produces it for the Military for our products. Since it's freshly dyed, treated and waxed it sometimes shows up still damp....so, our entire shop smells like a giant GP tent or Army surplus store.......allllllll the time. Cheers.

I need to bottle that for cologne.

Not sure why, but the heavy duty ponchos like I was issued have really, really gone up in price.

Getting harder to find maybe. The last one I bought was almost $50.

A lot of that older stuff is canvas, so it tends to last much longer. I havent worn a pair of cammies/BDUs in almost 20 years, so I don't have extra pockets laying around, haha.

Last time I wore a pair of Army issued BDUs was in 1989... still pick them up occasional to wear when hiking, camping and such.

Don't think I'd worry much about that... none of it comes from boutique companies like Yeti. Basically, if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg they won't buy it - it won't stroke their egos.

I've known them as woobies for at least 30 years.

I joined in 1996 and we called them Woobies. I'm still in and we still call them Woobies...lol.
