Does anyone know where I can go to look at and purchase Pelican Cases near Woodland Hills or Canoga Park Ca?

Thanks

Surprisingly Frys has a decent selection of small cases. Are you looking for a full size range or just to check out the details?

Canoga Camera sells pelican cases, but according to their website they dont have any in stock. I might swing by there and Frys at lunch time tomorrow to see what they have.

There has to be some other store out here that has Pelican cases in stock.

Adventure Trailer is a Pelican Dealer.

We are located in Montclare, we carry a small stock, ideally it's best to know what you want and then we can order it in.

Thanks for the replies, I want to look at these before I purchase any and wanted to use up my lunch time, that is why I was asking for stores in the woodland hills area.

Thanks

Some of the REI locations stock a few Pelican models. Having both I prefer the much easier to open (especially at colder temps) of the Hardigg cases. Hopefully Pelican, since they own Hardigg, will migrate over to the Hardigg latch.

Thanks for all the tips, I ended up going to a place called ITC Electronics and then to Filmtools. ITC was on the way to Filmtools so I figured I would stop by there to see what they had, well, it turns out they didn't have any Pelican laptop cases in stock but they had quite a selection of the smaller cases (smaller than the 1500) and a couple of the very largest cases, which were on sale. They also had a decent stocked electronics store and carried the kind of electronics FRYs use to carry (resistors, capacitors, diodes, fluke meters, soldering Irons etc), so I picked up some heat shrink tubing and zip ties.

I then went to Filmtools, and they had a lot of Pelican cases, I don't know if they have them all in stock, but they had all of the laptop models and everything from the small Ipod Pelican cases to the largest cases with wheels, including the rifle type cases, all stacked 6 ft high, a really nice inventory, they also have color coded stickers on the boxes to differentiate between cases with dividers vs pic n pluck foam.

Lastly, they had the most complete selection of tape I have ever seen, they had duct tape and masking tape in every color of the rainbow.

you can't leave us hangin like that...whatcha get?

Ha Ha, I ended up getting the 1500 with dividers and the 1495CC1, it was a little pricey but I have a 12v brick adapter for the laptop which works great in my vehicle, but the adapter is rather large, plus I carry a mouse and external USB hard drive.

The best part of the trip was my wife asking why I didn't buy one of those cases for our kitchen box... So there may be an upgrade in the future :wings:
