Depending upon mileage, condition, price, etc.

If you want to haul people, obviously the burb. If you want to haul a 5th wheel or gooseneck, or a quad and boat obviously the 'duty. being that these are both 3/4 ton / one ton vehicles, they are comparable but still apples to oranges. The burb will likely ride better, be more manoeuvrable, and the longer wheelbase of the f350 will be more of a challenge (unless its a reg cab 8' bed). the 'duty is going to get better mileage and tow better, but that 8.1 and 4.10s will handle a load well. i like the simplicity of the solid axle on the 'duty, but id prefer to work on a gas motor any day. Ive owned a half dozen diesels, currently own a duramax but love everything about a gas motor other than the fuel mileage and somewhat lack of power (which an 8.1 shouldn't have a problem with, especially with a few bolt ons and a tune).

So I currently own both. But am considering cleaning house, per se. F350 has just shy of 200k, 'burb is 135k. Not much towing, but I do consider the mpg quite a bit, as it'll do double duty as a dd/work vehicle.

Honestly, if these are your only vehicles, I'd keep them both. Both are low enough in mileage that barring unforeseen circumstances they should be able to provide you with long fairly trouble-free service life. The PSD probably gets better MPG than the "Duragas", so it wins there, and there is something to be said about simplicity and general reliability of the D60 monobeam front axle. But with the Burb you can haul people more comfortable cause if you pack your luggage right the stuff they'll need most during a trip will be literally within an arm's reach. The Burb is also easier to heat and cool if you're using it for sleeping quarters - truck bed and caps are generally not very well insulated at all and will always require additional devices to provide creature comfort.

If both of these vehicles were mine I'd probably dedicate the Burb as a road-trip vehicle, and upgrade the Superduty in a manner that allows it to go pretty much anywhere. Reasons being while on the road the Burb is excellent for spending the night in for one or two people, and gas stations are generally fairly readily available. The Superduty has suspension that is easier to mod for more travel and flex, and the diesel uses quite little fuel when ran at low engine speed - thus giving you more time and distance off the beaten path.
