went up north under tahoe for some snow camping for christmas. new dual battery setup seems to work just fine...more on that later.
4 nights, 3 campsites, 750 miles, a lot of dirt, a lot of snow, a lot of slow speed drifting and more donuts than the runner has ever seen...cold temp was 15 one night, but I sleep in the truck, with a four legged breathing heater...
so I was comfy. Frozen condensation on the inside of the windows every morning....:REOutCampFire03:

first night camped off of 4 outside of dorrington. then went down to Jackson, up 88. camped one night in some empty box canyon campground on tiger creek road, the next two at the empty white azalea campground nearer to salt springs...
beautiful backyard you have!

Right on, did you do any fishing at Salt Springs? That is a nice little campground at azalea, what did you think of tiger creek rd, lllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggggg eh?

Cali, we threw a line in at salt springs one day but it was blowing so bad we had to shine it...hooked a few in the river though!
tiger creek is long...but pretty, and kinda fun in spots. We also hit a few side routes and got a little wheeling in....are there any fun trails out there?

Ya there are excellent trails within about 30 miles in all directions of where you were. Lemme know if you get back down to the area :camping:
