My trotting coyote was shot in 2007, along the roadside in Glacier National Park, with a 40D and a Tamron 28-300 zoom - f18, 1/50th sec as he loped right by me just across the roadway.
He was intent, and not bothered by my presence in the least. We saw several coyotes using the roadway as an easy route of travel while we were in the park.
The slow shutter speed worked well with his eye sharp, as his feet blurred, but I had numerous frames that were just a blur also. Sometimes we just get lucky.
Where were your highland cattle shot, Mamontof? Scotland??
