Thanks Natalie.

They are pretty cool and tough as nails. I was talking to a friend in my driveway and when she drove away a Gila Monster happened to be in front of one of her tires and she ran over it. I thought it was mortally wounded and used a shovel to move it to my side yard. Within a few minutes after setting it down it seemed to just shake it off and walked off into the desert looking no worse for the wear. The little beefcake. :Wow1:

Hey Nevadajh, you ever make it over near smoke creek and the high desert area over there? Some cool stuff for sure

No, I haven't made it in that area yet. Im 38 and have lived in Nevada since I was 4 you'd think I would have been a over Nevada but Ive only seen mostly the northern region and Vegas.

Thanks James. Considering I took the shot through a double pane window, I was happy it turned out as well as it did.

Yeah, but he he looks like a grumpy dude with bad posture. I'm going to go look for his more impressive brother. :sombrero:

yeah nevada is big country! Smoke Creek is in the Northern end of things, well north of Carson City anyways lol. Google Earth is now calling it Gerach Rd which changes to a BLM rd # then to Smokey Creek Ranch Rd... All new to me, it has always just been called Smoke Creek Rd, Kind if a back rd that connects Cali and Nev. Another great Area to see wild horses and Burrows and tons of Antelope is Shinn Ranch Road on the cali side of things.
