Looks like an pretty old coyote, he is wearing down his inferior canine teeth. Without them, he will begin to starve I suspect.

Great set, I love how the lion just disappears in the grass!!

The puffin portrait is very cool as well. What focal length did you use for your puffin shots in Iceland?? I am heading there next month.

Yep nice shots. And the lion one shows just how easy it would be to get into trouble if you leave the car because there's "nothing around" :)

I used a 300mm F2.8 on a m43 camera (Olympus E-M5) so it´s a 600mm for the puffinimage.
Thx for all the comments :)

So equivalent of a 600mm/2.8, man you gotta love that 4/3 format, if I didn't have so much Canon gear I'd swap over I reckon.

Yes, the DOF goes up by x2 also, but the lightvalue stays, so i can add a 2xTeleconverter and get a 1200mm F5,6 that i can shot handheld thanks to the stabilisator in the body.
Now i only need to get a new EF 300mm because mine is a old FD (only one i could afford) so the quialty of the glas isnt up to todays standart i guess.

So you can use Canon lenses on the Oly, I did see that somewhere

As a rule no, that lens is a classic and very sharp but it's a fair bet that the new ones are even better and digital really shows up a lens's faults. But you won't get good auto focus with a Canon lens will you?

I've got the 400/4 DO, it's a fantastic lens and very light.
